Craniosacral Sessions

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, nurturing form of bodywork that supports the body’s natural ability to heal, regulate, and find balance. Using light, attentive touch, it works with the craniosacral system—comprised of the membranes, facia, bones, and cerebrospinal fluid—promoting deep relaxation, improved resilience to stress, and overall balance.

This therapy can benefit people of all ages by reducing tension, supporting pain relief, improving sleep, and enhancing emotional and physical well-being. Many clients experience a greater sense of calm, clarity, and ease in their bodies.

My Journey with Craniosacral Therapy

When my children were newborns, I took them to a Craniosacral Therapist. I was always in awe of the subtlety of this gentle, hands-on modality. In 2011, when I, two, needed deep healing, I dove into learning Craniosacral Therapy from Etienne Peirsman at the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts.

Then, in 2022, I co-taught a course on Craniosacral Therapy for Pregnancy and the Newborn with Elana Sue St Pierre, OT.

This skill, which helps balance the nervous system, relieve tension, and enhance well-being, has proven invaluable for pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, and postpartum recovery.
